Our roots stem from the development of quality of play areas for children. We are a certified and approved McDonald’s Playground Contracting Company. Play Space Services has worked for years procuring equipment, providing installation, and performing routine inspections and regular maintenance. We then began providing full service construction services in the areas of relocating equipment, reimaging play area themes, and providing safety surface installaton.

Since our company began with maintenance and inspections of play areas for children, it enabled us to see the industry effects first-hand. These included improper installation, inadequate equipment, poor maintenance, and lack of controls by way of supervision. These inadequacies, in most instances, unfortunately resulted in injuries to children.

From these experiences we have learned first-hand the importance of quality workmanship in all phases of work relating to “Child Use Areas.” Simply put, Play Space Services has made child safety our number one priority. Our company is certified in a number of safety areas from design to installation to maintenance (see below).

Play Space Services, Inc. has grown to include a full range of recreation space construction solutions. With up-to-date knowledge about building codes and state, county and municipality procedures and guidelines, we are now able to provide site builds and amenities for Park & Recreation Managers and private developers. We provide in-house management from coordinating documentation to acquiring the permit through site inspections and project close out.

We also deal directly with the manufacturers of recreation equipment from playgrounds and park amenities to shade structures and gazebos. Play Space Services runs six full-time crews throughout the southeast. In addition, we work with our sister companies ARC Florida and Rainbow Turf to provide the highest quality play and skate park equipment, safety surfacing, pavilions and shelters, and shade structures.
